Welcome

Thank you for joining me on my journey.

To bring the newcomers up to speed on what Fat Guy Yakking is I will explain.

I am a 40+ Male with Type 2 Diabetes while also being over 300 pounds. With all odds stacked against me I decided that action was necessary and the activity I love the most was floating on kayaks, though it was also often the most embarrassing for a guy my size to fit into a kayak. I did it anyway and now use kayaking and the outdoors as my seasonal exercise.

It is my desire to bring you along on my adventure and draw inspiration to overcome the odds, whatever they are, and be successful in the things that drive you in life to be a better you for not only yourself but your loved ones and friends.

I have started this blog and a YouTube blog as vehicles to allow you as my passenger to my passion. Together we will accomplish goals, set new records, and show everyone to never count the underdog out of the game.

Trash on OUR water ways – Solution
